Can Job Stress, Harassment, discrimination make you sick?

All of the above in the title can make you sick, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I can bare witness to this. In the last few years of my career it has not been fun, leaning experience, the lose of the waking up and can not wait to get to work. No matter  how you look at it. There is always some bully there or more than one waiting to see what can they do today. How can they get under you skin, or what can they write you up for today. Bags form under eyes due to lack of sleep, improper nutrition, etc. Lack of exercise loss of muscle tone, loss of weight and low energy levels. When you take  a person that for years could work two jobs, do a 16 hr shift and get up and do again, without breaking a sweat. And, now it is like draining the life out to go in and do 9 hours. Migraines more frequent, more intense, and lasts longer. Medicines that use to work on them do not any more. Loss of hair , eyelashes, trouble concentrating, remembering things, and affects your job as well as home life. You take all of this in to consideration. You take only part of this not in detail to you higher supervisor or type up a letter of any and all you observe going on in your work place that is unjust and unfair to all in it. That affects their job, that gets done and said in front of other employees and patients in a belittle manner. You explain, I feel it is starting to affect my job performance, I know my body is run down due to the stress, you catch almost every bug that comes through the office. You express your concern, and how you need to improve you work, to finish up on things, and what is in the way of this happening. Increasing your productivity to your supervisor. Does she get back to you, thank  you for bringing all this to her attention. No, in the end it is r discussed, mentioned. You ultimately get the letter of termination. Still nothing mentioned about your concerns of your position or any other employee that you saw get treated the same way or worse. You had even asked this supervisor once when you gave her all this information, as she read and seen that the president of the companies name was also up there with hers. She stands up and stresses out to you at no time are you to ever go to him, you only come to her. She will promise to come more often to the office, work on things, compliments you, praises you, encourages you, etc. Only to turn around and do the unthinkable. So, what do you do? Do you still in turn tell the next boss if your job gets to this point? Express what is going on how it can be fixed, how you can improve etc.? From my experience and what I have seen no you are better off lying about it and looking for a new job. What do you think?
